Stage 1: DeMoss

Arthur’s moss and lichen treatment removes moss, mould and lichen from the surface of your roof, walls, driveway, paths, fences, decking and more. Our treatment can be applied to any exterior surface.

Lichen is a living organism that produces oxalic acid which over time can eat away at the surface it grows on. This damage is most obvious for painted roofs, and coloured metal roofs. The paint and the colour coat on metal roofs can be eaten away, causing permanent damage.

Once our product is applied and the moss & lichen die, like any living organism, they will start to decompose and crumble away so they can be gently washed off**.
